IBM's Watson Computing System

Cognitive Conversation is one of the primary use cases we see clients/partners pursue when working with IBM Watson.  In this scenario, developers use either the Watson Virtual Agent software-as-a-service offering, or the Watson Conversation service from the Watson Developer Cloud, to add natural language interfaces to their applications.  In some cases, other cognitive services can provide additional enhancements.  For example, you could use the Speech-to-Text and Conversation services to create voice controlled applications.

Watson Conversation is one of our primary cognitive services available in the Watson Developer Cloud.  It allows you to quickly build, test and deploy a bot or virtual agent across mobile devices, messaging platforms like Slack or even on a physical robot.
